How do you create the cartoons?

We use advanced AI to turn your child’s photo into a cartoon character, then a real human steps in to do the important bits: checking the animation, polishing the dialogue, adding music and sound effects, and fixing anything that looks off. We only send you the video once it looks and feels great.

What kind of photo should I upload?

For the best result, please upload:

  • A clear photo of your child’s face (no sunglasses or masks)
  • Good lighting (not too dark or blown out)
  • Only your child in the frame if possible
  • No heavy filters or face-distorting effects

If you’re not sure between two photos, pick the one where their face is most visible

How long does it take to receive my video?

Most cartoons are delivered within 24–48 hours after your order.

You’ll get a private download link by email as soon as it’s ready.

Can you create a custom scenario just for my child?

Yes! If you have a special idea (favourite toy, inside joke, specific event, etc.), email us support@cheekytoons.co.uk and we’ll see what we can do. Custom scenarios may take a bit longer and could cost extra, depending on complexity.

What happens to the photos I upload?

We only use your photos to create your child’s cartoon character. Once the video is finished, we don’t keep your photos for training, marketing, or resale. They’re removed from our systems after the project is completed.

What if I don’t like the first version of the video?

No problem, unlimited fair-use revisions are included.

Tell us what you’d like changed (e.g. voice, pacing, small visual tweaks), and we’ll adjust the video until you’re happy. The only limit is that revisions should be tweaks to the same cartoon, not a full new story from scratch.
